Lash Extension Process
Consultation
We'll start with a quick chat to understand your desired look. Natural, full, dramatic, or somewhere in between and assess your natural lashes.Style Selection
Together, we’ll choose the right lash length, curl, and thickness to suit your eye shape, lifestyle, and preferences.Prep and Cleanse
Your natural lashes are gently cleansed to remove any makeup, oil, or residue, ensuring the best bond for your new lash extensions.Application
You’ll relax with your eyes closed while individual lash extensions are carefully applied to each lash with safe, professional-grade adhesive.Drying Time
Once all lashes are applied we fan dry to make sure lashes are set.
Lash Lift Process
We start with a consultation & patch test
We’ll chat about your lash goals and perform a patch test to ensure everything’s safe. This is preferably done 48 hours prior if needed.Cleanse the lashes thoroughly
We use a gentle, oil‑free cleanser to remove any residue to help the solutions adhere properlyProtect the eye area
We place under‑eye pads to safeguard the lower lashes and skin from the lash lamination solutionsApply a silicone shield or rod
We select size to achieve the desired curl and carefully adhere it to the upper eyelidLift the lashes onto the shield
Using a bonding adhesive, we lift each lash and secure it flat against the shield.Apply the lifting (perm) solution
We coat the lashes evenly and leave the solution on for the designated time.Follow with a neutralizer (setting solution)
We apply a neutralizer to lock in the curlOptional dye application
If you want extra definition, we dye the lashesNourish with a conditioning serum
After removing all products, we apply a lash serum or nourishing treatment
Before lash appointments
Please DO NOT wear eye makeup, especially mascara; it takes time to remove and this can impact the time available for your appointment.
Feel free to communicate any specific preferences or concerns you may have - I will do my best to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.
Lash Aftercare
Keep your lashes as dry as possible for at least 24 hours. Don’t wash your hair during this time. This also includes avoiding steamy environments, very hot showers, spas, saunas etc. for 24 hours as a minimum.
Using a lash cleanser, clean your lashes regularly to stop build-up between lashes and eyelids. Use warm water and pat dry.
Don’t touch or pick. The more you touch them, the more oils from your fingers get on them, the more strain on the lash root etc.
Don’t use eyelash curlers of any kind or mascara.
Don’t try to remove them yourself as it may damage your natural lashes. Contact me to have them professionally removed.
What is considered “normal” and “not normal” after my treatment ?
Normal:
It’s normal to lose a couple of lashes every day. The extension falls out attached to the natural lash when it is ready to come out, and a new baby lash takes its place. Some days you won’t lose any, other days you might lose 3 or 4. It’s completely normal.
No two sets of lashes are identical. Each style looks different depending on your eye shape. So please be aware that your lashes will not look identical to your friend’s or a picture you may have, even if you request the exact same thing.
NOT Normal:
If you experience intense itching and or red/swollen eyelids in the first few days after the application. This could be a sign of an allergic reaction. This is rare, but if you are concerned contact me and I will remove them immediately. Don’t rub, or try to take them off yourself, that will make it worse.
Excessive shedding of extensions from the natural lashes in the first few days. Please contact us if you feel they are shedding rapidly within the first 3 days of application so we can troubleshoot and assess your lashes.
